Frequently asked questions

Why does this use a browser extension?

The extension lets Companion work in your own browser profile instead of a separate cloud browser.

Does the extension read my Companion cookies?

No. Companion uses an authorization handoff and stores an extension token, not raw Companion cookies.

Can I disconnect it?

Yes. Open Connectors in Companion and disconnect the browser extension whenever you want.

Does it organize tabs by chat?

Yes. Browser work is grouped by the chat thread that started it.
